I have kidney failure and am on dialysis. Is it possible for the kidneys to return to what they were?
There are two types of kidney failure: acute failure and chronic failure. Acute failure is like a kidney stone that stops urinating for a period of time, or blood pressure decreases as a result of an acute intestinal catarrh. It may come back if we treat the cause. In the acute form, it may require fewer sessions to improve function. The kidneys are still not affected.
As for chronic diseases, these are the ones that require more sessions
